Cherishing rare life to protect forests

A forest ecosystem is built on the delicate balance of flora and fauna. Since various species support one another, the extinction of just one species can completely disrupt this balance.

As forest guardians, we compile information on rare animals and plants we encounter in forests and share it with our partners who monitor forest growth. Currently, 42 rare species have been confirmed living in Materials’ Forests. To protect their habitats, we are learning about their modes of life and aiming to create environments that allow them to thrive. Additionally, the ability to find them is also crucial to their protection. We are fostering this ability through training and day-to-day monitoring surveys.

Maintaining the ecosystem is important for us, too, as we are bestowed with its blessings. We will continue to protect life in forests to preserve the ecosystem balance that has developed over many years.
